Obituary - TOPEKA CAPITAL-JOURNAL, Wed. March 17, 1999 Richard D. Wullschleger, Jr MARYSVILLE - Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville for Richard D. Wullschleger, Jr., 75, Fort Walton Beach, Fla, hospital. Mr. Wullschleger was a mechanical engineer for the U.S. Civil Service for more than 30 years before he retired in 1990 at Hurlburt Field. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was born 17, 1923, at Winifred. He graduated from Kansas State University. He moved to Fort Walton Beach, Fla. from Ogden, Utah, in 1964. Mr. Wullschleger was a member of First Baptist Church at Fort Walton Beach, Fla., where he was active in the Young At Heart Group and helped plan the new sanctuary. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Wullschleger, at home, a son, Alan Wullschleger, Mobile, Ala.; a daughter, Donna Williams, Navarre, Fla.; two stepsons, Steven Holt, Lake Mary, Fla., and Brian Holt, Mary Esther, Fla., three stepdaughters, Sherry Wagstaff, Stanley, N.C., Sandra Todd, Apopka, Fla., and Karen Bransten, in England; a brother Robert L. Wullschleger, Home, Kan.; two sisters Ruth Gee, Silver Lake and Margorie Volger, Barnes; and 18 grandchildren. Mr. Wullschleger was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Margaret Cummings, a son, Richard D. Wullschleger, III, and a daughter, Joyce Wullschleger. Burial will be at the Marysville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to service time Friday at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 21 First St., Fort Walton Beach, Fla., 32548.
