    Obituary

    Richard Sharpe Jr., an artist who lived in Lake Oswego, died of cancer Sunday in a Lake Oswego nursing home. He was 80.

    At Mr. Sharpe's request, no funeral will be held. Inurnment will be in Riverview Cemetery Mausoleum.

    Mr. Sharpe was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and in 1938 moved to Lake Oswego. He was a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York City and worked throughout his life as an artist. Mr. Sharpe also was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

    He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
