The Clinton Herald Monday December 19, 1932 p. 5 Henry C. Price, whosefather was mayor of Clinton in the early days, died at 4 o'clock Sundaymorning in Jane Lamb hospital, having been ill with flu and pneumonia.The body reposes in the Mathias Price home, 144 North Fifth street,where funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Burial willbe in Springdale cemetery. Henry Price was born June 28, 1855, inSabula, the son of Richard C. and Louise Martha Price. He came with hisparents to Clinton when he was but nine years of age, his fatherdeveloping a brick yard that served the early residents for many years.Mr. Price entered the employ of the city as a policeman May 17, 1889,serving until his retirement 14 years ago. He was married to MissMargaret Belles who died March 15, 1928, and leaves to mourn thefollowing sons and daughters, Thomas, Lyle, Harry, Mathias, William andRichard Price, the latter of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Charles Kramer of SanFrancisco, Walter Price of Elmhurst, Ill., Miss Ruth Price and Mrs.Harry Schawl. There are also 17 grandchildren. He leaves also brothersand sisters, the Misses Estelle and Ada Price and William Price ofChicago and Richard Price Buckmaster of New York city. Buckmaster wasthe family name in England whence his father came.

The Clinton Herald Saturday March 16, 1929 p. 5 Mrs. Henry Price, 144North Fifth street, passed away last evening at 7 o'clock after fouryears of ilness. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 3o'clock at the First M.E. church. Interment will be in Springdalecemetery. Mr. Price's sister and brother, Stella and Will, are to comefrom Chicago. Margaret Belles was born 61 years ago in Sycamore, Ill.,and married to Henry Price in Clinton. She leaves her husband and tenchildren, Richard of Omaha, William, Florence (Mrs. Kramer) of SanFrancisco, Walter of Carroll, Mamie (Mrs. Harry Schawl) Matthias, Ruth,Harry, Lyle of Rockford, Ill., and Tom of Dubuque. There are fourteengrandchildren, her mother, Mrs. Mary Belles, and two sisters, Mrs. ClaraDewey of Milwaukee, Wis., and Mrs. A.E. Pinney of Clinton. Mrs. Pricewas a member of Lyons chapter, O.E.S., of Star of Truth lodge ofRebekahs and of the Woman's Relief corps, 10, a past president of thislatter organization. The body will lie in state at the church from 2 to3 o'clock. The Woman's Relief corps will have their ritual at the churchand the Rebekahs at the grave.

Price,49, of Council Bluffs, formerly of Clinton, died suddenly this morningin Norfolk, Nebr., where he had gone on official business in connectionwith his duties as district master car builder of the North Westernrailroad. The body is to be brought to Clinton for burial but funeralplans have not been announced.

Burial will be in Springdale cemetery. The body willarrive here this afternoon and will repose in the home of Mathias Price,144 North Fifth street, after 6 p.m. where it may be viewed by friends.Mr. Price who was district master car builder of the North Westernrailway with offices in Council Bluffs, was stricken yesterday whileattending to official duties in Norfolk. He was bron Nov. 10, 1888, anddied on his 49th birthday. He parents were the late Henry C. andMargaret Belles Price. Mr. Price was educated in the local schools andwas married Oct. 18, 1913, to Miss Mary Bonneman of Clinton. They movedto Council Bluffs several years ago when Mr. Price was transferred tothat point. Survivors include Mrs. Price, and four children, HelenPrice, San Francisco, Calif., Robert, Marion and Carrol, at home, sixbrothers, Walter Price, Elmhurst, Ill., William, Mathias, Lyle, Thomasand Harry Price, all of Clinton, and three sisters, Mrs. Charles Kramer,San Francisco, Ruth Price and Mrs. Harry Schawl, of Clinton. Mr. Pricewas a member of Western Star lodge, 100, A.F. & A.M., DeMolayconsistory, A.A.S.R. Masons, and the Shriners.
