The original Kew tree that I received showed the family to have been founded by a Richard Kew (the Steward) b.1604 d.1674. The tree shows nolink to the next Richard Kew in the tree (this Richard Kew) married toElizabeth Brown in 1686. It does seem unlikely that someone marrying in1686 would be the son of someone born in 1604, more likely a grandson.
