    Rex McLuen, 80 Dies Suddenly Early Today. Rex McLuen, 80, retired Atlantic automobile mechanic for many years, died suddenly at 1:20 this morning at his home, 409 Locust street. Mr. McLuen had resided in Atlantic since moving here from Guthrie Center in 1918. He was born at Guthrie Center March 21, 1888, the son of Ben F. and Annie Lemon McLuen and was married there to Ruth Sellman Nov. 4, 1909. Mrs. McLuen died here Nov. 23, 1923 and he was married to Olive May Frohardt Aug. 15, 1953. Surviving are his wife, a son, Ben McLuen of Anita; a daughter Mrs. Lloyd Petersen of Walnut; three sisters, Mrs. Lake Sellman, Mrs. Bonnie Carr and Mrs. Lyle Coe, all of Guthrie Center, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brother, his twin, Ray McLuen in 1957 and Dare McLuen in 1960. The remains are at the Roland funeral home. Funeral arrangements are pending.
