  2.   No birth records for Reuben and Salome are found, though birth records for the other children are, including before, and after, the gap into which Reuben and Salome are inserted. Salome has been mismarried by Randall, raising doubts, and hence the possibility that she was, essentially, a fiction created to deal with misinterpreted facts? There is strangeness surrounding Reuben also. The Yarmouth VRs for Family:Joseph O'Killey and Elizabeth Chase (1), p. 1:105, have only the birth of son David recorded, in 1750. The remaining children are added by a memo by A. Otis in mid-1800's naming children Joseph, Tabitha, Reuben, Elizabeth and Hannah with no birthdates. Given David's birth in 1750, it is possible their Reuben was born about 1757, and that this person is a confusion with their son Reuben, or vice versa.
