Facts and Events
Obituary Mrs. Claud Kloosterhouse nee Reka Veeneman, died September 27, 1913 at ten o'clock a.m. She became ill on Monday and on Saturday morning passed away. The suddeness of her departure was a shock to her husband and relatives. She had reached the age of 27 years, and was married to Claud Kloosterhouse, December 26, 1912. As a tribute to her character is may be said: she was a faithful and loyal child of God. At the age of 19 she made confession of her faith and ever since labored earnestly and persistently for the kingdom of God. She was a teacher in the Sunday School and pathetic indeed was it for the class when they gathered to receive her instruction and were told that their teacher had gone to eternity, while only the previous Sabbath day she had taught them. A loving and faithful wife, an obedient child, a true and earnest Christian has fallen in the ranks. The funeral was held in the Reformed church, Tuesday, September 30, 1913, at two o'clock.
