    "Funeral services for Reginald R. Brinkmann, 56, Shreveport oil executive and long-time resident here, will be at 11a.m. Wednesday in St. Mark's Episcopal Church with the Rev. J. Lawrence Plumley, rector, officiating. Mr. Brinkmann, a World War I veteran who had lived here for the past 40 years, died at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday at his residence at 3952 Maryland Ave. following a brief illness. Burial will be in Forest Park cemetery under the direction of Osborn Funeral Home. The Rev. Rudolph Baugart, curate at the church, will assist in the services. A native of New Orleans, Mr. Brinkmann moved here four decades ago. At the time of his death he was president of the Highland Oil Company of Shreveport and vice-president of Triangle Refineries, Inc. of Houston, TX. He was a vestryman of St. Mark's and played an active part in the affairs and activities of the church. Also active in civic and business organizations, he was a member of the Shreveport Club, Shreveport Country Club, Petroleum Club of Shreveport, Boston Club of New Orleans, Missouri Athletic Club of St. Louis, Mo., and the American Legion. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Virginia H. Brinkmann, two sons, Lt. R.R Brinkmann, Jr., Fort Knox, Ky. and John Baxter Brinkmann of Shreveport; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Hawkins, Rogers, Benton, Arkansas, Mrs. W.A. Barth, Evansville, Indiana, and Mrs. O.J. Baird of Shreveport; two brothers, F.C. Brinkmann, Jr. Shreveport and W. Barclay Brinkmann of Blackwell, Oklahoma."
