Merrill Memorial, p. 175, identifies Nathaniel's wife as Rebecca Brown, daughter of Isaac and Rebecca Brown, but gives no evidence for this (presumably a guess based on Nathaniel's brother Peter marrying Mary Brown?) But Essex Antiquarian, p. 13:120, and NEHGR, p. 6:102, say that Rebecca Brown is the one that is named in the marriage record to John Badger. Since there is no record of Nathaniel's marriage, it is unknown what the basis is for identifying Rebecca as Rebecca Brown, much less the more specific identification as the daughter of Isaac.
