There is no other record of a couple named Ezra and Phebe Sawyer, so the cited baptism is presumed to be this family. The mother's name is presumably misrecorded. The birth of Rebekah found on p. 17: "Rebekah Daughter of Ezra & Rebekah Sawyer born Feb: 24: 1736-7 [1727 ?]" is unexplainable, The given date conflicts with the record of the birth of Cornelius 9 May 1737, and the speculated date in 1726/7 would conflict with the birth of Prudence. Based on the baptism and the spacing of sibling births, 1732/3 would work well, but it is not clear how this could possibly become 1736-7?
