It appears that the first wife of Francis Livingston later married his brother Erastus. The evidence for this is:

• The first wife of Francis Livingston was named Rebecca^[6].
• Erastus married a woman named Rebecca Livingston (see the source on their Family page).
• Eliza (daughter of Francis Livingston), Mary (daughter of Erastus Livingston), and Edna (daughter of Erastus Livingston) gave the maiden name of their mother as Rucker/Ruckers in their wedding records^[3][4][5].

Note that Edna's mother's maiden name is given in her death record as Malenoux. There is no obvious explanation for this.
