Rebecca may be a child of John Robinson, Jr. In John Robinson, Jr.'s will he refers to a "son-in-law" James Robinson. A James Robinson m. Rebecca Robinson (father of the bride, John Robinson, father of the groom, James Robinson of Washington Co.) in Rockbridge County on 18 August 1789. James may have been widowed by the time of John, Jr.'s will. We later find a James Robinson in Washington County, who is very involved with this family (witnessing wills, executor, etc.)
