After Rebecca's mother Mary d. 9 Oct 1695, Rebecca was raised by her aunt and uncle, Capt. Thomas and Rebecca (Perkins) Fiske. (Thomas was the brother of Mary, Rebecca from Topsfield Perkins, John from Ipswich Perkins, so no close relationship if any?) From an agreement between Capt Thomas Fiske of Wenham and Capt Thomas Howe of Marlborough, dated 23 Mar 1715, "whereas there is an intended marriage betwixt Thos How son of sd Thos mentioned and Rebeca Parkins a relative of sd Capt Fiske & brought up by him that if it shall so pelase god that they Intermarry...", Capt. Fiske promised he would endow Rebecca with one third of this real estate.Fiske Gen., p. 81 In his will dated 27 Sep 1720, Thomas Fiske of Wenham gave all his real estate, after the death of his wife, to "Rebecca Howe of Marlboro wife of Thomas Howe Jr." and gave his gun to their son Thomas.Fiske Gen., p. 78
