    [Note: while this does not contradict the birth date given by Stearns, the gap between the two suggests one might be off by a year. Probably it is this baptism, based on the age at death, but as it presents no insurmountable problem, we can just use as is until there is hard evidence one way or the other.]

    [Birth about 1759, so this appears to be miscalculated, and should say 62. This says James, but encouraged by Stearns, it appears to have meant William. A James married in 1827 but his wife's name was Susan, so this makes no sense as stated. The only Rebecca listed as a wife in the Ashburnham births is the wife of William.]
