Kent, Rebecca, d. John, jr. and Rebecca, May 4, 1697.
Kent, Rebekah, d. John, jr. and Rebekah, May 4, 1696.
[There is no intervening death record listed. While it is possible that one Rebecca died in infancy and a second one was born exactly a year later, the coincidence is scary. So it seems more probable that these are duplicate records of the same event, one containing an error. This source indicates that at least five copies of the town records were examined (original, town copy, county copy, copy made by Joshua Coffin, and copy make by Henry Short), and presumably, the compilers could not be sure that these slight variations were or were not intended to be the same person. The 1696 one seems more probable to be the correct one given the birth of brother John in 1698, but this is only a guess.]
