Whether Rebecca is older or younger than John, the eldest son, has not been determined. Source:Burleigh, Charles. Genealogy of the Burley or Burleigh Family of America, p. 11, says Rebecca was born 29 Mar 1683, but this source mangles several of the children in the family (Mary and the second Martha, but most notably John is missing, and addition of him is difficult if this date is correct for Rebecca), so since no basis for this date has been located, it has not been used.
