BOWKER, Deborah, d. John and Ann, bp. Oct. 4, 1747. C.R.2.
[Note: see also NHEGR, p. 60:62: "Deborah Bowker daughter of John & Ann was baptised Oct: 4th 1747". Given the parents' marriage in late 1746 and a son born late 1748, there is no time to have two children and no sign of twins in either the birth or baptism record. The will of John Bowker dated 1800 [Plymouth Probate 2461] mentions daughter Rebecca prominently (unmarried] but has no mention of a daughter Deborah. So given the dates of birth and baptism, it seems virtually certainly that Rebecca's baptism was erroneously recorded as Deborah.]
