Ray Francis Dunn Ray Francis Dunn, 80, Carrizozo, New Mexico, died Friday, December 7, 2018 at his nephews' home in Omaha, Nebraska.
He was born April 16, 1938 at Burlingame, Kansas, the son of Guilliam and Esther Elizabeth Hoggins Dunn. Ray graduated from Burlingame High School in 1956. After graduation he served for two years in the United States Army.
Ray worked construction before going to work for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He retired from Goodyear after 32 years of service. After retirement he moved to Carrizozo, New Mexico in 1997. Ray was a lifetime member of the NRA and a member of the Prospectors of America organization.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Betty Jane Johnson and JoAnn Rine, a brother, Edwin L. Dunn Sr. and several nieces and nephews.
Survivors include a brother, Guilliam (Sonny) Dunn, Bonner Springs, Kansas; his twin sister, Kay Pisle, Roundup, Montana and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the Burlingame Federated Church, Burlingame, Kansas. Burial will follow at Burlingame Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
