With this generation the Fitz Ranulf (Fitz Randal, Fitz Randolph) name became well established. Ranulf bore the Arms of his grandfather Glanville. Ranulf's descendants in the male line continued at Spennithorne until the early part of the 16th century.

    Cawley, citing a mid-15th century manuscript, states that Randulf, son of Robert FitzRalph and Heloise de Glanville, and his wife Mary Bigod had sons Ralph (Radulphum) and Randulf (Ranulphum...juniorem de Spenythorn). Ralph married ANASTASIA de Percy and had 2 daughters. Cawley provides no further information on Randulf.
