    Bio: Ralph Lloyd Wasner, (he's the bald one on the end of the 4th row next to his wife, Gloria Joy (Bischoff) ), aged 83, formerly of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on 30 March 2015 in Coral Springs, Florida.

    Ralph was born on 19 January 1932 in Springfield,Ohio to Samuel Rodger and Bertha May (Martin) Wasner.

    He grew up there, but lived most of his life in Dayton, Ohio where later, he met the love of his life, Gloria "Joy" (Bischoff), and on 24 May 1952, they were married and remained so for 62 years.

    Together they raised their own 3 children, 2 adopted daughters and a foster daughter, until adulthood. They were foster parents in Dayton for many more children through the years, having received the Governor's Foster Parent of the Year Award at the State House in Columbus in 1982.

    He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Korean conflict.

    He also was a cement truck driver for Hilltop concrete, that later became Ernst Enterprises,from which he retired.

    Several years later they left Dayton, Ohio for Florida.

    Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Susan (Mark) Woerner, Miami, Flo., Ralph E. (Erin) Wasner, Coral Springs, Fl., William G.(Deborah) Wasner, Springfield, Va., then from Dayton, Ohio we have their adopted daughters Carla J. Wasner and Sharon K. (Wasner) Harshman, and the foster daughter, (who they raised to adulthood), Sherri A. Davies, 12 Grandchildren, and 15 Great-Grandchildren, other nieces, and nephews and friends who mourn his loss.

    Preceding him in death besides his parents were 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

    Services will be held Friday, April 17, at South Florida National Cemetery, in a private ceremony, in Lake Worth, Florida.
