Ralph Stultz came to Ohio in 1831 and settled on a farm new Bellevue.[3]

    Ralph Stults b. 20 Sept. 1809; bap. 6 Oct. 1810; parents Peter and Lenah Stults (#555 First Presbyterian Church, Cranbury, N.J. Records). Ralph mar. Anna Fanning 3 Oct. 1832; and d. in Lyme Twp., Huron Co., Ohio 9 Sept. 1856. They had eight children: Emiline, Benjamin Franklin, James Madison, Adonoram Judson, John, Henry Clay, Sarah Rose, and Irvin L. with all except the first and possibly the second child born in Bellevue. Ralph was living in Huron Co. by 1835, as 1836 tax records show him living in Huron Co. with 3 horses valued at $120 and 6 cattle valued at $48.
