OBITUARY: "DROPPED DEAD" "...Mr. and Mrs. Parker arose early Sunday morning, and after building a fire each lighted a pipe and sat down to enjoy the usual morning smoke...Mr. Parker went to the barn to feed his stock. He had scarcely reached the barn when he was called back to the house by the startling intelligence that his wife had fallen to the floor and was supposed to be dying. Mr. Parker hurried to the house...just in time to see her breathe her last...The funeral took place on Monday, the remains being interned in the Dunkard Cemetery in Lagro township [Wabash County, IN]. Mrs. Parker was 56..."
