    Mr. German was a native of Fannin County. He retired from General Motors and was a member of the Harrell Grove Baptist Church for over 50 years.

    He was preceded in death by his wife of more than 50 years Millanease T. German and sons P.J. German Jr., Gary German and Ronald German.

    Survivors include his daughter Gail Orr; sons Jerry German, Wallace German and Randle German; daughters-in-law Carrolyn German and Jan German; son-in-law Bob Orr; 12 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services were held April 24 at Oglethorpe Hill chapel.

    Interment followed at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

    H.M. Patterson & Son, Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Road, NE in Atlanta was in charge of the arrangements.
