Georgia, Elbert County, "Minutes Book 1904-1910", pages 132, 133. Petition of J. A. Davis 1906 Georgia To J. J. Burch ordinary of said County J A Davis a citizen of the United States residing in Elbert County said state shows the following facts That Pleasant Davis died in said county on day 18 leaving an estate of real and personal property and on the day 18 at at regular Term of the Court of Ordinary of Said County W. C. Davis and J. F. C. Davis were legally appointed administrators upon said Estate and both dying with completing Said Administration and it now appearing to the heirs of Pleasant Davis that Said decedent was the possesser of realty in the County of Irwin that was never administered. Now in consideration of the premises J A Davis one of the next of Kin Files this his application to be appointed Administrator Delaware bonis non and to that end Citation issue and be published requiring all persons concerned to be and appear on first Monday in February 1906 to show cause why said J A Davis Should not be appointed administrator Delaware bonis non upon said estate. J A Davis Read and considered let Citation issue and be published as payed this Jany 1st 1906 J J Burch ordinary Georgia Elbert County To Whom it may Concern J A Davis having made application to us and in due form to be appointed Administrator Delaware bonis non of the estate of Pleasant Davis late of said County When is hereby given that Said application will be heard at the regular Session of the Court of Ordinary for Said County to be held on the first Monday in February 1906 Witness my hand and affixed Signature this 2 day of July 1906 J J Burch ordinary References
