Obituary

END SUFFERING– Death Relieved Mrs. Dearborn Davis Of West Market Street Monday – Mrs. Dearborn Davis, died at her home, 504 West Market street Monday at 2:45 p.m., aged 44 years.

Mrs. Davis was probably known to many people in Warren as Mrs. Phebe Osborn. He maiden name was Phoebe Corll. She was born on a farm near Delightful, Aug. 12, 1863, but Warren has been her home during the most of the past thirty years. For more than a year past Mrs. Davis has been a great sufferer, being afflicted with a cancer.

She became a Christian in early life identifying herself with the Salvation Army, and later with the Volunteers of America. She was active and untiring in Christian service and especially zealous in her efforts to life up work in Pittsburg, Cleveland, Chicago and other cities. She was ever a friend of the poor and unfortunate, and did what she could to relieve their distress. For some years past she had been a member of the Baptist Church of this city.

January 3, 1906, at Pueblo, CO, she was married to Dearborn Davis, and soon after returned to Warren, where they have since resided.

By a former marriage she was the mother of four children, three of whom with her husband survive her. They are Mrs. Alice Baisch of Liverpool, OH; Edward Crowe, of Youngstown, and Mrs. Sarah Jackson of Kenmore, OH. Her father, Jesse Corll and brother, Edward, are living at Unionville, IN. One sister, Mrs. Mory Corll resides at North Jackson, OH.

The funeral services will be held at the home Wednesday at 2 p.m., conducted by her pastor, Rev. William E. Barker.
