- ↑ One wonders about this birthdate, being only 2 months after the parents marriage. Also, typically, if a baptism is more than one year after the birth, it is also reported, and no baptism is in the published VRs, yet Phineas was baptized in 1766 according to the Stiles Family cited above and the church recrds. So given that the gravestone has an age at death that works out to a birth about Oct 1766, one wonders if the year is correct?
