The marriage of Miss Cathy-Anne Delaune of Folsom and Mr. Jason Salvador Prieto of Covington was solemnized Aug. 9 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Folsom, with the Rev. Jonathan DeFrange, O.S.B., and Deacon C.J. Guitterrez officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Thomas Delaune of Folsom and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. Jesse Auturo Prieto and Mrs. Rose Sherman Prieto, both of Covington. A reception followed at Vintage Court.

The bride, whose mother is the former Miss Catherine Louise Lynch, was graduated from St. Scholastica Academy and cum laude from Southeastern Louisiana University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in biology, with a concentration in zoology. She is pursuing a master's degree in physical therapy from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Malcolm L. Lynch and the late Mr. Lynch and the late Mr. and Mrs. Phelps Theodore Delaune.

Mr. Prieto was graduated from Covington High School and Loyola University, where he received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He is a cadet at the Louisiana State Police Academy and is a sergeant in the Louisiana Army National Guard.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Jesus Prieto and the late Mr. Prieto and the late Mrs. Edna Sherman Ernst. The couple will reside in Metairie following a honeymoon in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.

    On Thursday, January 6, 1966 at 9:55 o'clock am, Phelps Theodore Delaune, husband of Ida Mae LeBlanc Delaune, sone of the late Mary and Teodore Delaune, father of Mrs. Eugene Grabbe, Patricia, Wayne and Phelps Delaune, Jr., brother of Mrs. Eugene Aucoin, Mrs. Andrew Aucoin and Sister Mary Kostka, R.S.M., half brother of Mrs. Walter Cahn of Belle Rose, La., Lois, Elaine, Cecile and Richard Delaune of Baton Rouge, La., also survived by 5 grandchildren, age 66 years, a resident of Metarie, La. for many years
    Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of the Kussman Plumbing Co. are invited to attend the funeral.
    Services from the Metarie Funeral Home of L. A. Muhleisen and Son, 2929 Metairie Rd., on Saturday, January 8, 1966, at 9:30o'clock am, followedby Requiem Mass at St. Catherine of Sienna Church.
