Peter is listed in his father's will dated 5 Apr 1782 and is named as Executor along with his mother, Catharine[1].

Peter removed to North Carolina. He was born in Sussex Co, NJ where his parents lived and died in Lincoln Co, NC. He married Anna Barbary Summers about 1774 in New Jersey. He is buried in Belmont, Gaston, North Carolina, in Goshen Cemetery. His sister, Mary Fite Rumfelt also lived in Gaston County, NC as detailed in her husband, Henry Fumfelt's Revolutionary Pension file.
