Origins

White's book states that we are unable to determine the parentage of Perrine Bourg and uses indirect evidence to determine that she is not the sister of Antoine Bourg. Therefore the uploads showing her as the daughter of Simon Bourg without any evidence will be regarded as speculation.

CENSUS: 1671, Port Royal, Acadia [p. 11], name spelled Perrinne BOUR, age 45 [born 1626?]. Living with [2nd] husband Rene' LANDRY "Lesne" [L'aine']. There are 4 unmarried children, 3 children also listed are married. The oldest married child, Henriette PELLETROT, age 30, is from Perrine's 1st marriage. Second child just called Jeanne [but also a daughter of PELLETRET] is age 28.

Arsenault mentions in husband Rene' LANDRY's entry, p. 612, that she was the widow PELLETRET, sister of Antoine BOURG [note: this theory has been discredited by White]. Also on p. 717 (Port Royal, PELLETRET entry), Arsenault says she was born in 1620 [where found?]. Oldest child of 1st marriage born 1641.

Steve White proves that Antoine BOURG and Perrine BOURG could not have been brother and sister, given the fact that the (at least seven) marriages between her great-grandchildren of 1st marriage with Simon PELLETRET and Antoine BOURG's great-grandchildren required no dispensations.
