    EDGERTON - Mrs. Pearl R. Sheldon, 87, longtime resident of the Town of Albion, died yesterday in Memorial Community Hospital after a brief illness.
    Pearl Rebecca Crosley was born March 30, 1879, in Farina, Ill., and was a graduate of Milton College [1898]. She taught in the Vickerman School and Milton Union School, and later was employed in the Edgerton Shoe Factory for a few years until her retirement in 1944.
    She was a member of the Albion Seventh Day Baptist Church and Missionary Benevolent Society.
    Her husband, Carl Sheldon, of Albion, died in 1937.
    Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Anna Owens, Whitewater; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Albion SDB Church, the Rev. A. A. Appel officiating, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Jones-Arand Funeral Home.
