"The first of the Killey Family to leave Old Yarmouth was Patrick. In the near-by town of Harwich he located on the east side of the Herring River. There he built a water mill below his house, and as its miller operated for many years.

"In North Harwich, Massachusetts, high on a hill overlooking the property of, or in close proximity to the former Killey estate, there is a small well-kept cemetery with a number of graves all marked with Killey inscriptions or their allies." [from Randall, p. 43]
