Patrick Crawfurd, esq. of Nethermains, who had an only daughter Agnes, who wedded in 1709, John Boyd, esq. of Craneberry Moss, and appears to have alienated Nethermains to a family of the name of Glasgow. Her retour, dated 1723, calls her nearest heir to her grandfather, Captain Robert Crawfurd, who was “tertius legitimus filius Patricii Croawfurd, de Auchenames.”S1
