Patrick Crawfurd, esq. of Nethermains, who had an only daughter Agnes, who wedded in 1709, John Boyd, esq. of Craneberry Moss, and appears to have alienated Nethermains to a family of the name of Glasgow. Her retour, dated 1723, calls her nearest heir to her grandfather, Captain Robert Crawfurd, who was “tertius legitimus filius Patricii Croawfurd, de Auchenames.”S1
On the demise of Patrick Crafurd, of Nethermains without male issue, the representation devolved on his brother Moses.S1
