Thank you to the community of Roaming Shores for your outpouring of kind words, love and sympathy for Pat. As of this writing, services have not been finalized. Most of Pat's relatives live out of state. We will post information regarding her services when they are known.

It is with a heavy heart that we inform the Roaming Shores community of the passing of longtime RomeRock Association employee, member, resident, and friend Pat Sowry.
Pat has been with the RRA since 1987!
Please keep Pat's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

Pat was the cornerstone of our organization. We ask the community to please be patient with the RRA office as we learn to operate without her presence and knowledge.

Obituary
Roaming Shores – Patricia Ann Sowry, age 67, passed away unexpectedly at her home on March 9, 2023. She was born on April 11, 1955 in Ashtabula the daughter of Donald H. and Beulah (Warren) Sowry. Patricia was the Office Administrator for Roaming Shores Association for 38 years. She was also a U.S. Airforce Veteran who was an Inventory Management Specialist. Patricia loved to travel and especially going on cruises. She thoroughly enjoyed her job and living in Roaming Shores. Patricia is survived by her partner Al Ludke, sister Diana (Larry) Harding, niece Michelle Massey, nephews James and Michael Harding, eight great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Donald and Beulah Sowry. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Roaming Shores Clubhouse, 13 Roaming Shores Blvd., Roaming Shores, OH 44085. A private committal will take place at a later date in the Edgewood Cemetery, Ashtabula, OH. The family is requesting that you do not send flowers and make memorial contributions to RRA (Roaming Rock Association) – Pat Sowry Memorial. Please make checks payable to RRA. Remembering Pat Sowry
During the hectic time of getting ready for the holiday, the RRA staff paused to remember our friend Pat Sowry. This week, we placed our new memorial stone for Pat at the RRA office. The stone was from the lake and its engraving was funded entirely through donations from Pat's family, our membership, and staff. We humbly thank those who donated.
