Further evidence of his children was found in an heir's deed filed 01 Jul 1873 in the Massac County Clerk's Office, Deed Book R, page 429, in which Sarah E. Ford, Martha A. Ford and Louisa C. Adkins sell their undivided interest in the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 26, Township 16, Range 6 East located in Massac County to their sister Missouri A. Anderson. Evidently, the heir whose name was noted as....... Ford was the Martha A. Ford listed above.

Of his children, Missouri Ford was living with the family of Robert and Nancy Berry of Massac County in the 1860 census. Her sister, Martha A. Ford, was living with the family of William R. and Scioto E. Berry in the same county and census. The son George Ford and daughter Elizabeth Ford appear in the household of their uncle, Noah Ford, in the 1860 Massac County census.
