Holmes, Admr., vs. Fisher. Othniel Day on 16 May 1818 conveyed land to son John Day, taking a mortgage on it to ensure support of himself and wife Rebecca Day. "Othniel Day died in June, 1819. His widow, Rebecca Day, lived with her son, John Day, until July, 1829, at which time she married on Bancroft and went to reside with him."
[Note: as this is from a court case in 1842 the specification of the death date is probably not reliable?]
