DEATH OF A SWANSEA EVANGELIST The death took place on Thursday of the Rev. Oscar Snelling, aged 72, prominent in the religious and social life of Swansea for more than 50 years. He was an Evangelist and unattached to any denomination. Mr Oscar Snelling was known in Bristol, and often visited Muller's Orphan Homes. He was acquainted with Mr Muller, Mr Wright, and Mr Bergin and took a keen interest in the work carried on at Ashley Down, often visiting boys who had been associated with the Homes. Mr Snelling was a popular preacher, and was highly respected at Swansea.
