- Beq: to well beloved wife Mary house and kitchen furniture, clothing and bedding, with benefit of my stock of milch cattle and "her lifetime off the land I now live on"
- a suitable maintenance therefrom to the heirs of oldest son John.
- To sons, James, Charles and Andrew one crown sterling in addition to what they have already received.
- to daughter Anne Moore and her husband Presley one crown sterling to each, in addition to what they have received.
- to youngest son William half of the home plantation, from the lands of Andrew Hamilton Benson to those of Col. Gatewood, with appurtenances, farm utensils and "implements of husbandry, stock thereon of every kind, also moiety of estate of John Davis, late of Kentucky, due at Mrs. Davis' death, reserving a suitable maintenance for his wife".
