George Rollins has that he was born Dec. 12, 1859 in Clio, Genesse County, Michigan which does not match up with census records. He also has that he was married on Oct. 9, 1859 in Clio, Genessee County, Michigan.

Moved to Saginaw in 1863. Member of the Odd Fellows for 50 years.

Taken from the book "The Covered Wagon Way" "Orville M. Howe was a carpenter by trade and played the violin as a hobby, specializing in old-time music. He was a member of I.O.O.F. at Flint and a member of the Loyal Orangeman's Lodge at Onaway. He lived in Owosso for 15 years before his death. When he died he had 59 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild."
