OBITUARY: Wooster (Ohio) Daily Record, Sunday, November 30, 1997, page A11. Orlo Sinclair Smithville - Orlo C. Sinclair, 80, 649 S. Summit St., died Saturday morning, Nov. 29, at Wooster Community Hospital, after a long illness. Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Paradise Church of the Brethren near Smithville, with the Rev. Russell King officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster. Friends may call Monday from 7-9 p.m. at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville, where Masonic services will be conducted at 8:45 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Paradise Church of the Brethren, P.O. Box 126, Smithville 44677. He was born Jan. 8, 1917 in Wayne County to Vernon and Bertha (Shoemaker) Sinclair and married Dorothy L. Hershberger on June 20, 1937 in Wayne County. She survives. He was the founder of Orlo Auto Parts, Inc. in Orrville on Jan. 8, 1955 and worked there for 30 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Paradise Church of the Brethren near Smithville, where he served as a trustee and usher, a member of Cedar Blue Lodge 430 in Orrville, was a past chaplain and a 32nd degree Mason and was a charter member of Orrville Lions Club. Surviving in addition to his wife are sons and daughters-in-law, Wendell and Ivory Sinclair of Wooster and Lynn and Joan Sinclair of Sterling, daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Ray Green of Massillon, Sandy and Wayne Hochstetler of Smithville, Linda and Warren "Wayne" Steiner of Millersburg and Carol and Kent Kimpel of Peru, Ind.: 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
