    Mrs. Opal Mae Frakes of Searcy, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at Central Arkansas Hospital in Searcy.

    Born February 4, 1917, at Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Mrs. Frakes was 86 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Marzie (Lane) Young.

    Mrs. Frakes was a retired beautician and homemaker, and she enjoyed painting and fishing. She had been a resident of Arkansas most of her life. Mrs. Frakes was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by: her husband of 65 years: Eldred C. Frakes of Searcy, AR, two sons: Michael Frakes of Marianna, AR, and Dennis Frakes of Seabrook, Texas, two daughters: Nancy Allred of Sardis, Mississippi and Patricia Traylor of Benton, AR, twelve grandchildren, one stepgrandchild, twelve great grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren.

    Mrs. Frakes is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
