  • grew up living with his father in East Cambridge at Capitol Hill
  • went to school in Indianapolis where he studied law and got his law degree
  • worked a short time in a law firm and then in a commercial business in Indianapolis
  • became Postmaster in Cambridge City
  • bought the "James Rariden house" at 220 West Main Street in Cambridge City, which he rented out and eventually lived in with his wife
  • Member of Cambridge City Business Men's Association - see photo
  • was quite musical and would sing solos at church and special events
  • member of the Baptist Church
  • responsible for the cherry tree orchard in East Cambridge City, IN, where he planted 150 trees supplied by Garr’s nursery
  • moved to Canada, then back to the US, eventually settling in San Diego, CA
  • medium build, brown hair and blue eyes
