[Given the fact that Norris is written out of order, following Joseph in 1741, and accompanied by the birth of his wife, one might suspect the record was recorded much later, after the calendar shift, and one whether it is new-style or old-style. Since the name of Norris Lawrence is spelled differently in the two cases, it seems most likely they were written at two different times. Thus his birth may be have been recorded nearly contemporaneously, and so the old-style interpretation of the 11th month as January, seems appropriate.]
