Norma Pyper (Laughner) Adams, 86, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021.
She is a native of Pittsburgh but most recently resided in Traverse City with her loving husband and partner of 35 years, John (Jack) Adams.
She is survived by her son, Jay (Lee) Pyper, of Traverse City; daughter, Cindy (Ed) Walters, of Annandale, New Jersey; son, Bill (Kelly) Pyper, of St. Pete Beach, Florida; and her four stepchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Virginia (Ginger) Pyper, of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey; and her first husband, Paul M. Pyper, of Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
Norma was a loving and proud grandmother of Justin Brown, Jenna Basford, Holly Pyper and Paul Pyper; and great-grandmother of Lucas and Zoe Basford.
Norma was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority at Penn State University.
She loved to garden, travel and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and treasured friends.
She was blessed with the "gift of gab" and always made a memorable experience and impression on everyone she met. She will be truly missed.
