(Special) With only three days remaining in which candidates in the recent general election may file campaign expense reports, Mrs. Marie A. McLean, county clerk and recorder, announced today that 16 candidates have filed their reports. Candidates failing to file reports by Wednesday will be subject to a fine of $25 per day until the reports have been received by the clerk and recorder. The law requires that candidates, whether successful or not in the election, have their reports filed within 15 days after the election. Twenty-two candidates have yet to file expense accounts.     FUNERAL SET SATURDAY ANACONDA. May 13. (Special) Funeral services for Mrs. Norah Gardner, 63, Deer Lodge county public administrator and Anaconda resident 45 years, who died early this morning in St. Joseph hospital, Deer Lodge, will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock In St. Paul church. The funeral cortege will form at the Finnegan company funeral home at 8:45 o'clock and proceed to the church, where a requiem high mass will be celebrated. Interment will be in Mount Olivet cemetery. Born in Tipperary county, Ireland, Mrs. Gardner came to the United States when 19 years of age, settling in Anaconda. She was a charter member of the American Legion auxiliary of this city, a member of the Women of Woodcraft and St. Paul church. Surviving are five children. James and Matthew Gardner and Mrs. Joseph McCabe of this city, and Mrs. William Scott and William Gardner of Seattle, Wash.: five sisters and one brother, Mrs. Emma Hefferon, Mrs. EJames F. Flick, Mrs. Rebecca Knight, Mrs. Timothy Cordial, Mrs. Elizabeth Horrie and Patrick Burke, all of this city.

    • This is the only mention of sister, Elizabeth Horrie. She is not mentioned in any of the other obituaries of the siblings who lived in Montana and I cannot find any mentions in records under that surname.

    RITES HELD FOR MRS. N. GARDNER Deer Lodge County Public Administrator Buried in Mount Olivet. ANACONDA. May 15. (Special) Last rites for Mrs. Norah Gardner, Deer Lodge county public administrator and resident of Anaconda 45 years, who died in St. Joseph hospital in Deer Lodge Thursday, were conducted with a requiem high mass in St. Paul church at 9 o'clock this morning. Interment was in Mount Olivet cemetery. The funeral procession formed at the P. J. Finnegan company chapel at 8:45 o'clock and proceeded to the church for the services. The Rev. D. J. Sullivan, assistant pastor, officiated. St. Paul church choir sang responses to the mass and a sacred hymn, "Abide With Me." Mrs. Ann Perro sang. "O, Take Me to Thy Sacred Heart." Members of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the American Legion and Neighbors of Woodcraft attended the services in groups. Many friends of this city, Butte, Helena and Deer Lodge also attended the funeral. Pallbearers were Patrick E. O'Brien, William Rothnie, Michael P. Mahoney. John Shegina, John J. Speiran and Robert A. Kelly. Out-of-town relatives who arrived here for the funeral included a daughter, Mrs. William Scott: a son, William Gardner, both of Seattle, and Matthew Gardner of Philipsburg. Mr. and Mrs. John J. Walsh of Helena were among the out-of-town friends at the funeral.
