Burial of Nicolas Keler. the burial record gives his age death as 40 years. Since his parents lived in St. John the Baptist Parish from 1759 until their deaths in 1789 & 1790, he was almost certainly born there.

No specific birth record for him has been located, and the record of his 1st marriage does not name his parents. However the inventory of the property of his mother, Catherine Waguerly, widow Keller, specifically notes that the inventory was taken at the home of her son, Nicolas Keller.
