    NELSON D. FORTNEY

    Funeral services for Nelson D. Fortney, 53 years old, who died Saturday morning at his home 1915 1/2 Boonville avenue, following a brief illness, were held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the Klingner funeral chapel, 424 East Commercial street. Burial was in Greenlawn cemetery, under the direction of the Klingner Undertaking company. The deceased is survived by the widow, five daughters, Misses Kennie, Edna, and Roxey Fortney, of Kansas City, and Orpha and Ruby Fortney both of Springfield; two brothers, Lon and George Fortney, and five sisters, Mrs. Nannie Fortney, Mrs. Ella Shuey, Mrs. Mattie Shuey, Mrs. I. G. Heckley and Mrs. Nancy Hayes.

G. Heckley and Mrs. Nancy Hayes, of Springfield. Funeral arrangements are incomplete, but burial will be in Green Lawn cemetery under the direction of the Klingner Undertaking {illegible}
