Nelda Aletha Corthron Chewning, 79, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001, in a local hospital. Services will be 10 a.m. Frdiay at Woodlawn Chruch of Christ, with Claud Parrish officiating. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Colbert, OK, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory. Mrs. Chewning was born in Denison.
