[17] [William's] name and that of Neeltje or Eleanor, daughter of Roelof Martense Schenck and his wife Annetje Wyckoff, are found among [18] the communicants of the Brick Church in 1709. His Dutch Bible is still in existence with the dates of the births of all his sons and daughters entered in his own handwriting. A copy of this record is given with other Bible records at the end of this work. Albert Welles, in his "Conover Family," 1881 [3:117], gives the date of his marriage as 1701. Eleanor Schenck was born January 23, 1681, and died July 27, 1751.
