Nathaniel4 North (Nathaniel3, Thomas2, John1), oldest son of Nathaniel and Margaret (Holcomb) North, was born at Northington, now Avon, April 14, 1709), and died in 1754, aged 45, at Wethersfield, where he lived, He married May 12, 1731 [error for 1736], Thankful Root, born at Newington, July 15, 1717, daughter of Joseph Root. No record of any grandchildren has been found."
