    NOTE: The Nathaniel who died on the Canada exhibition was this man's eldest surviving son.

    Will of "Nathaniel Clark of Newbury in New England Sen'r", dated 21 Aug 1690, inventory taken 27 Sep 1690, will proved 30 Sep 1690, mentions "son Nathaniel if he live to come home" [on expedition to Canada], sons Thomas, Henery ["provided he shal live w'th his moth'r & take ye care her buisnes, whilst She remans a widow"], Daniel, Josiah; "my loving & dear wife & t my Son John whom I apoint my ful & sol Executors", "my four youngest children And when ye children are of age ... my Son, And my daughters Sarah, And Elizabeth, And Judith", "my honored father in Law Trustram Cofin [second husband of Nathaniel's wife's mother] & my Loveing freinds henery Sumersby [brother-in-law] & Will'm Noyes".

    Page 10 of this same source: "The writer has been unable to learn anything of Nathaniel Clarke prior to his marriage in 1663."
